Listen to Your Body

Listen to your body

We’ve encountered a common theme from various sources this past week and we thought it worth sharing with you.

Do you listen to your body?

Customers, friends, family have all related back to us about how they consider certain health problems to be normal and just something that is part of them which needs to be ‘sucked up’.

Allergies, sinus pain, migraines, eczema, fatigue, puffy eyes……. yes they are certainly common in an awful lot of people but this doesn’t make them ‘normal’.

Your body is supposed to feel alive and full of energy. YOU are supposed to feel free of pain and discomfort.

Why do so many of us ignore these signs which are our body’s way of trying to get our attention that something isn’t quite right? Why don’t you listen to your body?

We think it’s because people have forgotten just how good they are supposed to feel. A lower standard of wellbeing has been excepted simply because they can’t remember the last time they honestly felt amazing.

We want to tell you something- Please don’t ignore the signs. Pay attention to those annoying issues you might be experiencing and do something about them rather than just live with them.

There are so many fantastic Naturopaths and Holistic Therapists of all sorts out there that can help you get to the bottom of those problems and get rid of them once and for all.

Wouldn’t you just kick yourself, if all this time the cure for your ailment was as simple as a change in your diet?!

We just love supporting people on their health journeys. It really does fill us right to the brim hearing how our food has had a positive impact on your life. It’s the reason why we do what we do.

If you would like to ask us a question or need help seeking out a health professional, we can point you in the right direction. We have a great network of recommended therapists who would be honoured to help you find that better sense of wellbeing.

Two of our favourite clinics to get you started are-

Merge Health who merge mainstream medical with alternative natural therapies

In2Great Fitness who provide comprehensive and individualised integrative natural health care through testing and evaluation, treatment and education.
